France, originally named Lutetia, has many attractions. It’s a country of Love and some of its ‘bans’ will definitely make you fall in love with this country of love.
1. Parliament in France has moved to ban child beauty pageants on the grounds that they promote the “hyper-sexualisation” of minors. It also recommended other measures, not included in the bill, including a ban on child-size adult clothing such as padded bras and high-heeled shoes. All this is done to make girls believe that their worth isn’t only judged by their appearance.
2.France is the first country to ban supermarkets from throwing away or destroying the unsold food. They can donate it to food banks or charities. it’s a wonderful way to share and care.
3. France is to impose a total ban on using mobile phones in primary and secondary schools. Phones are already forbidden in French classrooms but starting next school year, students will not be allowed to take them out at breaks, lunch times and between lessons. This is done to promote outdoor playing.
4. Children in France have lessons just four days a week. And they get two hours each day for lunch and enjoy longer school holidays.
5. French government plan to ensure that homework is done at school. Jean-Michel Blanquer, the education minister, has a scheme to end the traditional homework routine as it would reduce social inequality and end the tension that often arises as parents seek to persuade children to complete their assignments on a Sunday evening.
These are amazing bans by the French government that make it a wonderful country which has the motto : Liberté, égalité, fraternité .
